Rivers is a special special needs boy! When he came to SAP he'd just spent 31 days at the vets due to severe injuries. He had been shaved & only had a beret. Rivers is deaf as well as being blind in his left eye. STILL he loves to play. He enjoys hugs & walks. He must have a secure fence & a companion. Rivers is neutered, micro-chipped, & available! Cleo was found abandoned with her brother Otis. They were starving and cold. Cleo we suspect, had been hit by a car and was never taken to a vet. Her back leg is weak and has to be strengthened. Meg

Please help us place these 25 puppies that came to us January 25, 2007. They are all about 6 to8 weeks old. The female they were found with is listed on our website named Lilly but we do not think all of these puppies are her own. We need to find homes for these precious little ones. The are adorable and so cute. They will be available for adoption 14 days from the day we received them. So approximately February 10, 2007 will be the date they may be adopted.  "Ziggy" is a Black lab mix. He is small and very loving.  His est. DOB is 2-1-06. We got him from the pound and he is so sweet. It is going to take a little time for his neck to heal where someone left a collar on him that was way too small for him. He will be better soon, and is now up to date with all of his shots. Cherokee is a Tri colored Blue Heeler, Cattle dog mix. His est DOB is 1/04/04. He is completely deaf but it does not seam to bother him a bit. He will make any one a wonderful new family member. Johnny
Johnny is an English Coonhound/Pointer mix. He lives at the kennel with his friend Shep. When Johnny was a puppy he didn't receive any attention and was very shy around people and other dogs. Now he is a little more trusting and very sweet. He gets along with everyone, especially Shep. They have been companions for about two years. Why do Georgians need to buy a dog and cat sterilization plate?

Please be sure to buy the Spay/Neuter License plate and help end the needless suffering of unwanted pets.  The plate is available at your automobile tag office.  The proceeds from the sale will provide funds for spaying/neutering and educational programs about the importance of spaying/neutering.
